So what makes man unique
But building massive empires
Which last for many generation

And what makes an ant so grand
Then building cities out of sand
Knowing their work is not fruitless
It will last till long after they are gone

So what makes man unique
Surely it must be the power of reason
To rationalize and realize

Say that to the lions
Who wont even bat a second glance
At a passing elk if he is not hungry
For he knows
If he were to take when it is not needed
Then they all would soon be gone

So what makes a man unique
Certainly it must be the atrocity of war
Not man’s brightest hour but certainly
So complex in it’s emotion
Surely it must be human

Watch as the bees
Whom built their nests on opposing trees
Prepare for war
They compete for flowers they compete for space
They compete no more

So then what makes man so unique?
