Fighting to be fought

Sun Sep 4, 2005, 8:11 AM
About a week ago a friend of my dad's whom I know fairly well got assaulted. Two guys jumped him breaking both of his arms he can't work now. He lost everything He can't even eat on his own anymore... Why did these people attack him? Because he toured duty in Iraq. That is some bulshit right there. First off you dont debate politics with fists, second off This guy was only following orders to go its not like they asked him, I mean he has kids. Think of the attrocity this is. Someone fights for the people of america only to come back and have the same people he fought for take everything away from him. He can't even get a lawyer to take his case because he was drinking in a bar when it happened. So not only did the people that he fought for attack him the very system he helped protect turns against him as well. He can't eat by himself, use a phone or work or anything. It's a terrible terrible thing this world is coming too. It's all brought out of shere ignorence imean even if you dont support the war you don't do something like this.
